  Whenever I have to write about myself I find it a little awkward.  It's a bit like describing a trip along a river.  Telling you who I am is like describing the boat, the oars, my life-jacket, etc. That stuff is there more or less all the time.  So, my boat is my body and my mind - it carries me down this crazy river.  Sometimes it bobs along and doesn't cause me any concern.  Sometimes I have to bail and bail in order to keep from sinking.  My oars are my optimism and my curiousity (I want to see what's around the bend).  My life-jacket is the faith that I'm hear for a reason.  It's also my love for my children and people in general.  And finally, what keeps me afloat is my meditation practice, those times when I stop rowing and just float, feeling the sun on my face and the roll of the current taking me where I need to be. Those wonderful times when I am the River. The boat and the oars and the life-jacket are merely details.  Love and Peace Always, Otter
